Account and Data Deletion

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your Renoview account and what is removed when deletion is completed.

Delete Your Renoview Account

If you can sign in to Renoview, you can request complete account deletion from your profile:

  1. Sign in to Renoview.
  2. Open Account, then Profile.
  3. Go to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What Account Deletion Removes

For homeowner, consumer, and provider accounts, account deletion removes your Renoview account profile and sign-in account. Depending on your account activity, it also removes associated Renoview data such as:

  • projects, properties, project photos, project videos, and related media records
  • stored project image files, provider logo files, and profile photos managed by Renoview
  • comments, poll votes, followed projects, notifications, and notification preferences
  • shared updates, reports, feedback, and support submissions connected to your account
  • provider enquiries, saved providers, linked providers, access requests, and provider company data where applicable

Renoview records an anonymized deletion event after account deletion. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, legal, dispute-resolution, backup, or operational reasons.

Videos and External Services

Project video records are removed from Renoview during account deletion. Where Renoview controls externally hosted video assets for your account, Renoview also deletes or requests deletion of those video assets as part of the deletion process.

Google and Facebook

Deleting your Renoview account deletes your Renoview account. It does not delete your Google account, Facebook account, or any account you hold with another service.

You can review connected Google and Facebook sign-in methods from your Renoview account profile. Renoview permits disconnection only where another usable sign-in method remains. This lockout prevention means you may need to keep a sign-in method connected until another one is available.

Disconnecting Google or Facebook from Renoview stops that provider from being used as a connected Renoview sign-in method. It does not affect your underlying Google or Facebook account. If your current Renoview profile photo was copied from the disconnected sign-in provider, Renoview removes the stored profile photo from your Renoview account.

If You Cannot Access Your Account
